Project and Scenario Management

      -      Import GIS database from Planet format and Mapinfo (Mapinfo and Vertical mapper for grid databases required and not provided with TOM).

      -      Import / export from / to DXF format for certain items such Service area, coverage threshold, population areas,…

Objects Management

      -      TOM manages three types of object: Service area corresponding to an area or a road with defined objectives to reach, sites and  radio nodes (sector)

      -      Object management includes the definition of the object by default

-      Filter function allows the filtering of objects based on certain parameters

-      Sites (Link / unlink sites to the corresponding SA based on location)

      -      Graphic attributes management

Business Rules Management

-      TOM allows the customization of business rules at the scenario level

-      TOM allows to create, edit and manage several Coverage Service types

o  TOM allows the mapping of coverage service and landuse to create automatically accurate marketing map coverage service

      -      TOM allows the management of marketing rules such as penetration model, service definiion, user profile, user distribution, monthly ARPU by type of user, ARPU evolution

      -      TOM Cost allows the management of all unit cost for the following items: sites, radio node, radio node upgrade, equipement, equipment upgrade, financial parameters

Algorithms ACP and AND: For each scenario: automatic Master Plan creation (design and and pre-optimization) thanks to ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) and AND (Automatic Network Dimensioning) algorithms.  

-      Provide automatically the optimized number of sites required by Service Area respecting pre- defined objectives

-      Provide automatically the location for each site (for linear, sites will be generated on the road)

-      Provide automatically the optimized configuration by site / sector:  antenna tilt and azimuth optimization

-      Real time coverage algorithm based on coverage services definition

-      Algorithms Tuning: automatic or manual

o  Edit and manage a list of parameters that can be tuned within each Service Area for the setup of Algorithms

o  Surface Objectives coverage can be adjusted by SA

o  Activation or deactivation of each land use within the SA

o  Possibility to reuse or not existing sites and already generated sites by a previous iteration

o  Possibility to use friendly sites database (site sharing, special agreement with real estate). The algorithm will use as much as possible these sites but will respect engineering and quality rules

o  Reuse or not of coverage coming from other SA  (neighbors SA)

o  Provide several choices for the Site Generation and Pre-positioning Module tuning (trade between speed and optimized results).
